Consultation Rates and Policies

I accept cash, checks, Venmo, and all major credit cards as payment for my fees.

Please note that, while I do not bill insurance companies directly, I can provide monthly statements, if requested, reflecting all charges.  These statements will have all of the information required by your insurance company in order for you to submit for reimbursement.  While many insurance companies will reimburse for therapy based upon any licensed professional’s statements, there is no guarantee that your insurance carrier will do so.  I therefore recommend that you contact your insurance company to ask what their policy is for “out-of-network” providers.

My policy for dealing with scheduled appointments which the client either misses or cancels without at least a 24-hour notification is to charge the client a minimum of a one hour fee to be paid before the next scheduled appointment.  When a session with a minor (under the age of 18 years) is missed or late-cancelled, the parents are responsible for this payment.
