About Bruce L Ross

Bruce L Ross is a Licensed Marriage Counselor and Family Therapist with registration number MFC #34852. Over his 27 years’ experience in Individual and Couples Counseling, Family Therapy including teens and adults, couples and families he has worked successfully with multiple cases.

After graduating with a BA in psychology (honours in psychology) from the University of Kansas in 1973 he moved with his wife to Santa Cruz. In 1976 Bruce co-founded the Santa Cruz Guitar Company and for 13 years built acoustic guitars used by some of the world’s most influential players such as; Eric Clapton, Jerry Garcia, Elvis Costello, Tony Rice and Norman Blake, to name a few.

In 1989 Bruce decided to get back to his original calling and after selling his interest in the Santa Cruz Guitar Company he enrolled in a Masters of Counseling program at the University of San Francisco where he received his Master of Arts degree.  In addition to the Master’s Degree he has also undergone extensive training in hypnosis and hypnotherapy as well as mediation and collaborative law.

With these extensive skills and educational achievements Bruce is dedicated to provide the best Counselling and Therapy results to his patients.
